9th Annual Family History Conference Set

Saturday, Aug 18, 2018, is the date for the Pahvant Valley Family History Conference.  The theme of this year’s conference is FAMILIES...MATTER. The conference is free and will be held at Delta High School. Opening session begins at 8:45 am with registration from 8:00 am to 8:45. The conference will provide 15 classes for you to choose from to help in researching and cataloging your family history.  Those registering for classes will have the option to purchase a lunch. Can register at the right side or Click here to register.

We are excited to announce that our keynote speaker will be Dan Debenham, host of the popular BYU TV reality show Relative Race.  The show is filming it’s fourth season and is filled with fun, emotion, stress, and drama. It shows the joy of learning about family relations and how much families matter!  The show is in partnership with Ancestry.com. DNA test results show how the relatives are related to the participants. Four couples compete to win a $50,000 cash prize and complete challenges with a twist as they travel to different cities to meet and spend the night with their newfound relatives.  Each couple has an allotted time to complete their travel to their relative’s home using only a flip phone and a map. The couple with the slowest time gets a strike and three strikes mean the couple is disqualified from the race and off the show.

Relative Race is a wonderful, family friendly show and is well worth your time to watch.  There are ten episodes for each season. You can find it on BYU TV or search online for “Relative Race” and enjoy!

Please join us for this exciting conference!
